Tissue Culture Support Center

The Tissue Culture Support Center seeks to enhance the in vitro research efforts of Washington University investigators by offering basic tissue culture services and providing access to unique technologies such as Seahorse Biosciences' XF extracellular flux analyzers and Amaxa's 4D Nucleofection platform. Training in basic tissue culture technique as well as the utilization of the various technologies within the facility is also available. In addition, the Tissue Culture Support Center serves as a centralized store that offers a wide array of essential laboratory reagents and consumables at aggressively negotiated prices for your value and convenience. Seahorse BioScience's Extracellular Flux Analyzers

The TCSC has both the XF24-3 and XF96 extracellular flux analyzers to monitor oxygen consumption rates (OCR) and extracellular acidification rates (ECAR) for obtaining bioenergetic profiles of your cells of interest. These instruments are available to the Washington University community on a fee-for-service basis and training is available through the TCSC. Lonza 4D Nucleofection

The TCSC provides access to Lonza's 4D Nucleofection technology for the delivery of nucleic acids into your cells of interest. Lonza's Nucleofection technology is proven to be highly efficient with minimal toxicity and enables delivery into the nucleus of the cell.
